Harp

Alis is highly passionate about outreach work, and was awarded the Rev. Paul Bigmore Music in the Community Award whilst at RWCMD.

She frequently takes her harp into care homes, giving interactive concerts to residents. Alis is especially interested in how music can affect those living with dementia, having witnessed first hand the changes it can bring. She has worked extensively with community based charities Live Music Now!, Lost Chord and Music in Hospitals and Care.

Additionally, Alis has worked with Drake Music and the London Philharmonic Orchestra's Orchlab project, promoting inclusive music making. She has held residencies in various special needs schools, and was also invited to be a part of Saffron Hall's Unlocked residency in summer 2022.

Alis is also experienced in giving workshops and recitals in schools, which she can provide through the medium of English and Welsh. Alis's belief in reaching the wider community is central to her ethos as a performing musician.
